About Me

I’m a senior communications and engagement leader with more than 25 years of experience helping organizations communicate complex work clearly, credibly, and with purpose.

I began my career in journalism and later moved into public relations and strategic communications, working across nonprofit, healthcare, and community-based organizations. My work has focused on public education, stakeholder engagement, and storytelling that builds understanding, trust, and action—often in highly regulated or misunderstood environments.

Through Grayson Communications, I support mission-driven organizations with communications strategy, writing, and engagement efforts. My work includes grant writing and stewardship reporting, public-facing communications, media relations, and narrative development. Over the past three years, I’ve maintained a 100% success rate on grant proposals by aligning organizational priorities with funder goals and impact storytelling.

I’m personally and professionally committed to conservation, outdoor recreation, and stewardship of public spaces. I serve in leadership and advisory roles with conservation organizations, am a certified Louisiana Master Naturalist, and spend much of my time outdoors—camping, hiking, and kayaking.

I believe strong communications can connect people to place, mission, and community—and I bring that philosophy to every project I take on.
